Being forced to abort my natural creative force as a child by militant grandparents, my artistic adventures were buried alive waiting to one day arise out of the ashes. The Phoenix arose in December of 2023 after a ski accident crushing half my body.
My work features intuitive mixed media paintings exploring themes of resilience, the human experience and hidden inner strength. My figurative abstracts invite quiet reflections rather than imposing fixed meanings. My paintings focus heavily on the female visage, empowerment and breaking boundaries.
